This new release for 2015 comes in four finishes with either Rosewood or Maple fingerboard.
The body is Alder and the finish is Urethane. Neck in C shape with a radius of 9.5″ or 241 mm if you prefer metric, and medium jumbo frets.
Wiring is fairly standard for HSS Strats with a master volume and two tone controls. The 5 way switch is wired with Position 1. Humbucking Pickup w/ Coils in Series, Position 2. Middle Pickup/Inside Coil of Humbucking Pickup in Parallel, Position 3. Middle Pickup, Position 4. Neck/Middle Pickup in Parallel, Position 5. Neck Pickup. The the “Shawbucker” humbucking pickup is new design and the single coils are the Noiseless™ N3 Single-Coil type.
