About Fender

The two iconic guitars made by Fender are the Telecaster and the Stratocaster.

The Telecaster was he world’s first commercially successful solid body guitar.  First introduced as the Broadcaster in 1950, its simple and effective design allows it to cross many genres.

The Stratocaster was introduced in 1955 and the design has been much copied over the years.  Many guitarists have played a Stratocaster from Hank Marvin to Yngwie Malmsteen. Also Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Jimi Hendrix and many others.
