Gibson™ Custom Shop have been involved with the development of this limited-edition tribute guitar based on the specs of ‘59 Les Paul Standard although it is priced a little cheaper than the original or even the Gibson™ Custom Shop version.

In the UK this is around the £700 mark compared to the Custom Shop ’59 reissue at around £5000 it’s a bargain. An original ’59, if you can find one, would be in excess of £40,000.
Featuring a satin finsh mahogany body, with a maple top and cream binding, a mahogany neck with the period correct long tenon joint also satin finshed. The fretboard is Indian laurel, which is a bit more sustainable than the original rosewood, and 22 medium jumbo frets. We also have Gibson™ USA Burstbucker pickups and ’50s wiring.
Obviously the difference in price will have some areas where cost savings are made. Here is a link for the full specification.
